Cava Brut Nature NV, Pago de Tharsys SparklingExcellent value Cava with lovely ripe citrus and red apple notes and none of the battery acid or sugary notes that mass produced Cava has been besmirched with. This is proper, grown up fizz.

The majority of vines for this wine are old pergola-trained characters and in this case

not too aromatic and "NZ Sauvignon-y" but with great citrus drive and a touch of elderflower floral notes to add interest

which is exclusively hand-harvested

but this is a really tasty vibrant

Raventós i Blanc is run by Pepe Raventós

so they have incredible purity and precision

This is a lovely racy Alpine white made with the grape variety Jacquere

with indigenous yeast

but with something so distinctively Tuscan about the flavour profiles

deep yet elegant

with a lovely interplay of zesty freshness
